Some of Our Favorite Haiku Monkey Fonts

Lexave

Lexave

Lexave is a funky little font that lives large, in three styles (each with italics).

AJHand

AJHand

AJHand was my first font, and is based on my own handwriting. It was originally intended to be a custom font for notating jazz charts, but it turned out to be robust enough for more everyday uses.

Myrna

Myrna

Myrna is based on an ancient movie poster for a film starring Myrna Loy, one of my favorite actresses from ancient times. Tall, thin, and glamorous, just like Myrna.

Blues City

Blues City

Inspired by neon signage, Blues City comes equipped with neony curvy serifs, as well as hundreds of connected ligatures, to really emulate the flavor of neon lettering.

Mineola

Mineola

One night, in a fevered state I can barely recall now, I decided I would hand-sketch a version of my favorite serif font, Minion. Mineola is the result of that fevered spirit trip.

m7

m7

m7 is a legible slab serif with a lot of stability thanks to a little extra width.
